Saving venues for next time

Tournament sites you add can be kept in your own venue library, so next season the club and its address are one tap away.

2 min read

Most assignors run the same clubs season after season. Instead of retyping "Riviera Tennis Club" and its address on every tournament, Bluebridge keeps a list of the venues you've used and offers them whenever you add a site.

How a venue gets saved

On a tournament's event page, click Add site in the Sites card. Below Site name and Address (optional) there's a checkbox, "Keep this site for next time". It's ticked by default, so every new site you save joins your library unless you untick it first.

Saving a venue twice is fine
Names are matched regardless of capitals, so "riviera tennis club" and "Riviera Tennis Club" are the same venue. Saving one you already have keeps the spelling you saved first, and adds the address if you've included one this time. A blank address never wipes out one you saved before.

Using a saved venue

  1. 1Click Add site in the Sites card.
  2. 2Under Your sites, tap the venue. Its name and address fill in.
  3. 3Change anything you need for this tournament and click Save.

If the venue you need isn't there, tap New site to clear the form and type it in. New site is highlighted whenever what you've typed doesn't match a saved venue.

Each tournament keeps its own copy

Picking a saved venue copies it onto the tournament. Renaming a site with its pencil, or removing it, changes only that tournament; your library and your other tournaments stay as they were. Deleting last season's tournament never takes the club off your list.

Taking a venue off your list

Point at a venue under Your sites and click the small × that appears on it. That only removes it from your list; any tournament already using it keeps its site.

Your list is yours
Your venue library is private to your account. Co-assignors on the same tournament see their own saved venues when they add a site, not yours. Venue saving is part of tournament sites; a dual-match season's venue is set in its Settings instead.
