Per-date vs per-event applications
Two ways officials can apply to a tournament. Pick the one that matches how you staff.
Tournaments support two application modes. The choice is yours when you create the event and changes how officials interact with it.
Per-date apply
Every date is its own application. Officials pick the specific days they're available for. Use this when officials are likely to commit to some days but not others, short-staffed weekends, partial coverage, etc.
Per-event apply
One application covers the entire run. Officials are committing to all the dates with one tap. Use this for short tournaments (1-3 days) or when you only want officials who can be there the whole time.
Switching later
You can change apply mode in Settings. Be careful: switching from per-event to per-date won't split existing applications, they'll still cover all dates. Switching from per-date to per-event won't merge them either.
