Creating your first event
Choose between a tournament and a dual match, add dates, and publish.
Bluebridge has two event shapes. Pick the one that matches what you are running and the rest of the form adapts.
Tournament vs. Dual Match
- Tournament, single venue, multi-day, multi-court. Officials apply once for the whole run (per-event) or pick specific days (per-date).
- Dual Match, one home program's season of dual matches. Each match is its own row with start time, opponent (or two teams for a neutral site), and an officials count.
Set the default officials count first
Both forms put a defaults card before the date picker, "Match defaults" on college, "Day defaults" on tournament. Set the number you usually need (e.g. 6) before you start clicking dates, and every date you add from that point gets that count baked in. Dates you already added stay where they were, only later picks pick up the new default. Leave it blank to default to 1.
Add dates
For tournaments, pick the date range; each day gets the default you set above (or 1 if you left it blank). For college, add each match with date, time, and opponent, same default applies and you can still override per match.
Visibility
Public events show up in the search results for every official. Group events are only visible to officials in that group, see the Groups article for setting one up.
