When officials apply to several dates at once

An official can apply to multiple dates of your dual match in one go. You get one notification, but each date is still an independent application you can assign separately.

What you receive

When an official ticks multiple matches and hits Apply, you get a single email with the subject "Casey Rivera applied to Pepperdine Men." The "Applied to" line inside the body shows the date count plus each individual date (e.g. "4 dates · May 30, May 31, Jun 5, Jun 6") so the email stays scannable while preserving the detail.

What actually happens behind the scenes

  • Each match the official picked becomes its own pending application row.
  • You can assign, decline, or ignore each one independently from the event detail page.
  • If the official already had an active application on one of those dates, that row is left alone, they aren't double-applied.
  • If the official previously withdrew or was released from a date, applying again reactivates that row instead of creating a duplicate. Declined rows stay declined, re-applying is blocked until you force-accept or release them.
